Kashmir is a scenic region in northern India, known for its mountains, valleys, and cultural richness. It has been disputed between India and Pakistan since 1947. In 2019, India removed its special status and made it two Union Territories: Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. Despite tensions, it remains a major tourist destination.
